The pain of arthritis is a serious problem once the years accumulate. Many people have serious problems with their knees, joints and wrists, especially when the weather is cold or the seasons change.

Juices to relieve arthritis pain

Apart from the use of conventional medications to relieve arthritis pain, there is another way to reduce pain and that is through juices and teas. There are many of them that can perform little miracles to arthritis pains and also prevent arthritis from occurring.

Granada juice

The pomegranate is a fruit the size of an orange with a reddish outer skin. The inside of the fruit is filled with hundreds of seeds. Many people eat only the seeds, but you can eat the meat as well. The fruit can also be made into juice.

Pomegranate is a healthy food, because it offers excellent nutritional benefits: fiber, vitamin K, potassium, folate and copper, as well as saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. One pomegranate contains about 40 percent of the daily requirement for vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant.

A small study from 2011 showed that pomegranate extract reduced joint tenderness in rheumatoid arthritis patients by 62 percent.

Researchers credit pomegranate’s antioxidant properties, concluding that may this fruit help ease the pain of rheumatoid arthritis.

Also, pomegranate extract can block the production of an enzyme that destroys cartilage.

Pomegranate and sour cherry juice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups tart cherries.
  • 1 peeled pomegranate.
  • 1 apple (remove core).

Pineapple juice for rheumatoid arthritis pain relief

Bromelain, a digestive enzymes in pineapple, is surprisingly good at knocking down inflammation. It can be as effective in reducing osteoarthritis pain as some anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, at least when taken in supplement form.

Some studies of pineapple bromelain supplements suggest that it may help relieve rheumatoid arthritis pain as well. Eat pineapple between meals, not with them, or the enzymes will be depleted digesting your food, and choose fresh or frozen pineapple, not canned pineapple.

Pineapple, carrot and celery juice

Ingredients:

  • 5 carrots.
  • 2 stalks of celery.
  • 4 oz pineapple.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice.

Extract all the juice from each of these recipes, drink immediately and start enjoying its benefits. It is necessary to take it constantly so that its properties begin to work within your body.

You can try variety too, you can try the juice of other fruits or vegetables that fulfill the same role.

Green tea

Studies have indicated that the chemical compound in green tea called quercetin acts as a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. They also suggest that green tea can help prevent or ease rheumatoid arthritis pain.

And according to the Study, women who drank up to three cups of green tea a day were 60 percent less likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis than women who drank none. You can add this tea in juices or drink it alone to start enjoying its benefits.

Ginger tea

Another wonderful tea for arthritis pain caused by inflammation is ginger tea. Research shows that the phytochemicals in this aromatic and versatile spice may be helpful in relieving arthritis pain, thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic properties.

Ginger root is easy to find at any grocery store; just cut it into small pieces and infuse it in hot water, or add to green tea.

Other fruits like kiwi and orange

Other fruits that are capable of relieving arthritis pain are kiwi and orange – or better known as fruits that contain a large amount of vitamin C.

The juices of these fruits that contain vitamin C, are able to keep up in the fight against free radicals in our body. Free radicals are unstoppable molecules capable of attacking healthy cells, consequently, generating more pain from arthritis and other diseases, and even without them.

It is no coincidence that our parents push us to drink natural juices from an early age. It is not that protection against arthritis is thought every time, but it is clear that fresh fruit juices will be more powerful against free radicals than charred sodas, which are even harmful to our health in general.
