How to Make a Healthy, Gluten-Free Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates.
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted almonds.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted walnuts.
  • 1/4 cup of Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 ripe bananas.
  • 4 tablespoons of natural almond butter.
  • 1/4 cup (extra) unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • 4 tablespoons organic honey or agave honey.

Instructions:

The way to integrate these ingredients is not very complex, and you can be sure that the chocolate brownie will be a healthy delight.

  1. Put the dates in a bowl of warm water, let them soak for 30 minutes and drain.
  2. Blend dates, almonds, walnuts, and 1/4 cup cocoa powder in a food processor until well blended.
  3. Spread the mixture in a baking dish until it is evenly distributed, and press gently with a spoon.
  4. Blend the bananas, almond butter, honey, and the other 1/4 cup cocoa powder in the food processor until well blended.
  5. Spread the mixture over the bottom layer until it is evenly distributed.
  6. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut into 16 squares. Re-freeze what you don’t eat, and enjoy another time.
