It is possible to enjoy the flavor of a rich chocolate coconut ice cream and not feel guilty, since there is a dairy-free option to enjoy the flavor of this ice cream.

People are increasingly aware of healthy eating. More and more people are aware of how harmful some foods can be, such as dairy products, such as gluten, such as refine sugar, and we are looking for new alternatives that can provide us with satisfaction in our palate, worse also in our health.

Delicious Dairy Free Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream

This chocolate ice cream tastes the same as regular ice cream. It is delicious and full of creamy flavor, only there is a huge difference in something special: it is 100% healthy for you. Do you want to know how to prepare this delicacy right now? It has no science at all, just take care of gathering all the ingredients and voila!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups full fat coconut cream or coconut milk.
  • 300g (10.5 ounces) frozen  (peel the banana, cut it into quarters and freeze at least 12 hours before making this recipe).
  • 2 oz. (60 g) fresh dates (pitted).
  • 2 tbsp. organic cocoa powder.
  • 2 tbsp. nut butter (any variety will work, but you can also use  butter or peanut butter).

Instructions

  1. Place the ingredients in a blender starting with the coconut / milk cream, then the cocoa, almond or walnut butter, dates, and finally the frozen bananas.
  2. Blend until very smooth. Taste to make sure it’s sweet enough – if not, add a little more dates.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and process for 20 minutes until thickened. Move to a container in the freezer and allow it to sit for 1-2 hours, then serve.
  4. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can simply skip this step and go directly to a freezer container, although this will require several hours to set. Don’t let it get too solid, but if that happens, then allow it to thaw for about 15 minutes before taking it out.
  5. Serve with some dried fruit, or a drizzle of maple syrup or agave syrup if desired.

This delicious Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream recipe serves 2 in a large ice cream bowl, or 4 for a smaller serving.
