If you want to be able to taste Kale Ice Cream it is not necessary that you are following a rigorous diet, much less, you can try a delicious water or fruit ice cream, and not feel guilty since it is made with healthy ingredients.
In addition, when we prepare ice cream at home, we can have more control of the ingredients that we will use to prepare our snow. These ice creams are very safe to add to the diet of someone who is looking for a low-fat food, which is sweet but does not contain sugar or calories, for this we will use very healthy ingredients.
Cabbage and blueberry ice cream
We are going to prepare a delicious kale and blueberry ice cream, a mixture that may surprise you, but its flavor will conquer you, as well as being able to enjoy a very healthy dessert.
Ingredients.
- 1 cup of almond milk.
- 2 frozen bananas, coarsely chopped.
- 2 large stalks of kale, deveined and chopped. (It can be another green leafy vegetable such as Swiss chard or Spinach, or the one of your preference.)
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries.
- 2 dates, pitted.
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Instructions.
Put the almond milk and kale in your blender and blend until the kale is mixed well with the milk. Then add all the other ingredients and mix well until the mixture is like a thick shake.
Pour the mixture into a plastic container in the freezer for 2-3 hours until firm.
Now the ice cream is ready to serve. Store the ice cream in the freezer. It is best served the same day, but can be stored in a freezer for a few days. You may need to let it sit in room tempura for a bit before scooping it out.
